FAQ

Straight answers before tax time.

Simple answers to common questions about working with Brian and preparing for your tax return.

Will Brian personally prepare my tax return?

Yes. That is the core difference at BN Sullivan Tax. Brian personally prepares and reviews every return, rather than outsourcing the work or passing it to juniors.

Do you specialise in rental property returns?

Yes. Rental property returns are a core focus alongside individual returns. Brian reviews your rental schedule, interest, repairs, agent fees, depreciation and capital gains questions in detail.

Do you work with clients outside one city?

Yes. The process can be handled by phone, email and secure document sharing for clients across Australia.

What documents should I prepare?

Brian will send a tailored checklist. Common items include income statements, receipts, logbooks, bank interest, and for property investors rental statements, loan interest summaries, repair invoices and depreciation schedules.

Are prices fixed?

Individual returns start from $155 including GST and returns with a rental property start from $285 including GST. More complex situations are quoted upfront before any work begins.

Can you help with overdue returns?

Yes. Brian can help organise missing years, prepare individual and rental property returns in order and explain the next steps clearly.
